Kuwait, 16 May 2026 – Global lifestyle hospitality leader Kerten Hospitality has announced the appointment of Mohammad Taha as General Manager of Ray Hotel by Cloud 7, bringing more than 25 years of international hospitality leadership experience to Kuwait’s newly launched lifestyle hotel in Mangaf.
A seasoned hotelier with an extensive background across luxury brands and lifestyle hospitality concepts in the Middle East and Southern Asia, Mohammad will oversee the strategic direction, daily operations, guest experience and commercial performance of Ray Hotel by Cloud 7 as the property continues to establish itself as Kuwait’s most contemporary seaside lifestyle destination.
Operated by Kerten Hospitality under the Cloud 7 brand, Ray Hotel by Cloud 7 recently opened in Mangaf, overlooking the Arabian Gulf and offering a contemporary stay experience centred around design, wellbeing, dining and community connection.
Mohammad joins the role with a proven track record of leadership across multiple international markets including Jordan, Qatar, Vietnam, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. His career has seen him work across multiple respected hospitality brands, building strong expertise in hotel openings, operational excellence, food and beverage strategy, talent development and delivering elevated guest experiences.
His appointment comes at an exciting time for Ray Hotel by Cloud 7 as the hotel builds momentum with staycation demand, family experiences, lifestyle programming and the upcoming launch of Joontos Restaurant. It also supports Kerten Hospitality’s continued expansion across the GCC, and particularly in Kuwait, where the group has been active since 2021 with The House Hotel Al Khiran.
