Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya is thrilled to announce the appointment of Chef Ivan Chieregatti as its new Executive Chef. An Italian with Mediterranean roots, Chef Ivan, brings 20 years of extensive culinary experience and a wealth of global expertise and creativity,

Recognized for his outstanding leadership and culinary mastery, Chef Ivan was awarded ‘Executive Chef of the Year 2019’ in India, reflecting his commitment to excellence in the hospitality industry.

Chef Ivan’s career has spanned luxury hotels and restaurants across the globe, including in Switzerland, Dubai, Qatar, Jordan, the Philippines, and India. He has had the honor of serving world-renowned figures such as The Rolling Stones, Mariah Carey, Elton John, Roger Federer, and Michael Schumacher, as well as several Prime Ministers and Presidents.

Chef Ivan’s expertise is distinguished by his advanced training under renowned Michelin-starred chefs, including Michel Roth and Gualtiero Marchesi, as well as his specialized culinary education at the prestigious École Ducasse Formation Centre in Paris. Complementing his culinary mastery, he also holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, strengthening his well-rounded background in culinary arts and hospitality management. This unique blend of top-tier training and academic excellence positions Chef Ivan as a true visionary in the culinary world.

In his new role at Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya, Chef Ivan will lead the culinary team, overseeing all of the hotel’s dining outlets, including its signature restaurants and events. His vision is to create memorable dining experiences by blending international flavors with the finest local ingredients, offering guests a unique and innovative gastronomic journey.
