LATCONNECT EXPANDS GLOBAL FOOTPRINT WITH STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS ACROSS FIVE COUNTRIES AT COP28 In the Presence of Hon. Reece Whitby MLA Western Australian Minister for Environment; Climate Action; Racing and Gaming

LatConnect, a leader in satellite data and insights, announces the signing of six groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) at COP28, reinforcing its commitment to global sustainability through innovative collaborations.

The signatures took place over a gathering of important officials and with the support of Hon. Reece Whitby MLA; Western Australian Minister for Environment; Climate Action; Racing and

Gaming; presence onsite to witness the achievements in support to Western Australian companies.

In support of these initiatives, the Hon. Reece Whitby, WA Minister for Environment & Climate Action, expressed his endorsement, “Reece Whitby, who is Western Australia’s Environment, Climate Action, and Energy Minister, witnessed the signing of LatConnect60’s six Memorandums of Understanding while at COP28. Minister Whitby said he supported WA-based companies expanding to the UAE, as well as the wider Gulf region and international markets, to showcase the state’s energy and space technology capabilities.”

“The signing of the 6 MOUs at Cop28 represents a significant step for LatConnect 60 in building strategic partnerships across numerous countries including the UAE, Malaysia, Thailand and Switzerland to collaborate in building capabilities and opening new markets to deliver our services for large scale nature conservation projects and emissions monitoring for the O&G industry and agriculture,” said Dr Rueben Rajasingam, COO and Co-founder at LatConnect.

The MOU’s signed were:

UAE: Melaaha Drones

• LatConnect 60 (LC60) joins forces with Melaaha Drones to integrate satellite data with drone insights for projects across the UAE, enhancing efficiency and environmental monitoring.

Malaysia: Global Nature Capital SDN BHD

• LC60 partners with Global Nature Capital to provide data and analytics services for monitoring Carbon sequestration in forest conservation projects spanning over 1 million hectares.

Thailand: Deleum Oilfield Solutions Thailand

• Teaming up with Deleum Oilfield Solutions Thailand, LC60 will jointly develop nature conservation projects in Thailand and actively monitor emissions from oil and gas facilities.

Malaysia: ProximaX and Carbon Green Forest

• In collaboration with ProximaX and Carbon Green Forest, LC60 integrates satellite data and insights with blockchain-enabled trading platforms, enhancing transparency in carbon trading.

Australia: Vidi Astra

• LC60 establishes a long-term partnership with Vidi Astra, leveraging future satellite Lidar capabilities for advanced environmental monitoring and research.

Switzerland: Tesenso

• Collaborating with Tesenso, LC60 forms a strategic partnership to integrate IoT sensor technology with satellite data, enhancing data accuracy for comprehensive environmental monitoring.
