Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Properties Recognized by ‘World’s 50 Best Hotels’ Awards

Two Four Seasons properties reached this year’s top 10 list continuing a landmark year for the hospitality brand

Several of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts’ leading properties have been named amongst the top hotels globally by the World’s 50 Best Hotels Awards. In its inaugural edition, the award recognized four of the hospitality brand’s premiere properties for their commitment to crafting one-of-a-kind hospitality experiences for guests.

In addition to having two properties in the award’s top 10 list, Four Seasons is one of only two hospitality brands to be recognized with a total of four properties on the list.

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, a pristine urban resort in Thailand’s capital city, came in at number three on the annual list. Located above the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok’s sprawling creative district, the scenic property was originally opened amid the COVID-19 pandemic and has since become an energetic hub within the neighbourhood. Parallel to its world-class amenities, the location is also home to the BKK Social Club, which was awarded a #3 place in Asia’s 50 Best Bars this year.

Four Seasons Hotel Firenze in the heart of Florence, Italy was also recognized in the award’s top 10 list. Known around the world for its manicured gardens, original frescos and Michelin-starred restaurant, Il Palagio, this converted Renaissance palazzo and convent has long been a must-visit for travelers seeking one of the most refined stays in Tuscany.

Consistently ranked as the best hotel in Spain, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, earned #24 on the list. Having opened in 2020 right in the center of the Spanish capital – between Puerta del Sol and Barrio de las Letras – this majestic property is the culmination of seven historic buildings, including the old Bank of Spain.

In a fitting end to an excellent summer season, Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens celebrated its ranking of #35 on the list. Located on the Athenian Riviera, the hotel has received a string of accolades since opening in 2019 following a €650 million (Euro) renovation by Four Seasons. The hotel originally opened in 1961 and was known as a coastal retreat for the likes of Brigitte Bardot, Jackie Onassis and Frank Sinatra.

As one of the world’s most celebrated luxury hospitality brands, Four Seasons continues to expand its portfolio with new hotel and residential openings, providing remarkable experiences for guests in some of the world’s most renowned locations.
