Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 1 May 2025:\u00a0 <\/strong>\u2013 \u00a0Shangri-La Jeddah has been awarded the Business Traveller Award for \u201cOverall Best Business Hotel in the Middle East\u201d during the 2025 annual awards ceremony held in Dubai this week.\u00a0 The award was presented at a prestigious ceremony recognizing excellence across the hospitality and travel sectors.\u00a0 Winners were selected through a robust public voting system ensuring the authenticity and honesty of the Awards, elevating its stature among its peers. The awards celebrate the companies facilitating business travel and tourism services, recognizing top-level work that is shaping the future of the industry. \u00a0Shangri-La Jeddah also secured a second award for \u201cBest Business Hotel in Jeddah\u201d amongst a list of other shortlisted hotels in the city.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cWinning the Overall Best Business Hotel in the Middle East category is indeed a remarkable achievement for the hotel, the Shangri-La brand as well as the destination. This recognition highlights Jeddah\u2019s growing prominence and excellence in the region\u2019s hospitality sector.\u201d said Philma Gomes-Ellis, Commercial Director accepting the award on behalf of Shangri-La Jeddah.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Shangri-La Jeddah commercial team travelled to Dubai over four days to participate in Arabian Travel Market (ATM). The event was an important showcase for Shangri-La Jeddah as a leader in the Saudi Arabian luxury hospitality sector and was represented equally among many of the top hospitality and tourism brands in the world.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Chris McFall \u2013 Vice President of Sales MEIA on accepting the award alongside Philma, commented: \u201cShangri-La Jeddah has truly set a high standard for luxury hospitality since its inauguration in 2022. The combination of guest offerings and bespoke social spaces clearly played a significant role in securing this prestigious recognition.
