On January 10th, the first mass-produced V27—iCAUR’s mid-to-large all-round hybrid SUV—officially rolled off the production line at the Wuhu Super Factory in China. This marked the start of full-scale mass production. As a key strategic model for iCAUR, the V27 is scheduled to launch in the Middle East in Q1 of this year, with planned across additional global markets.
At the roll-out ceremony, Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Group; Zhang Guozhong, Executive Vice President of Chery Automobile; Zhang Guibing, General Manager of Chery International; and Su Jun, CEO of iCAUR, were among the attendees. Chairman Yin Tongyue noted that the V27 has received a positive response from global markets since its debut, emphasizing the need to ensure flawless product quality, actively expand production capacity, and meet growing demand to drive sustained sales growth worldwide.
The mass-produced V27 is iCAUR’s first model to feature Golden REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle). Built around the concept of “Future Classic”, V27’s retro round headlights and boxy body measuring over five meters long create a highly distinctive presence.
Inside, the V27 adopts a Stellar Cockpit design concept. Segment-first “Stellar Porthole” dual panoramic sunroof, combined with a floating “Star Island” ceiling, create a futuristic cabin atmosphere. Enabled by a 2,900mm wheelbase and a class-leading space utilization rate of 69.9%, the V27 delivers a spacious five-seat layout. In terms of practicality, a class-leading 1,357mm interior headroom, a trunk capacity expandable to 1,818 liters, and 49 storage compartments allow the V27 to effortlessly accommodate diverse use scenarios, from daily commutes and family trips to outdoor adventures.
The V27 is powered by Golden REEV, boasting a thermal efficiency of up to 45.79% and paired with a 34.3kWh battery pack to deliver over 150km of pure electric range and a combined range exceeding 1,000km. This enables eco-friendly mobility while maintaining the convenience required for long-distance travel. The dual-motor setup produces 455hp, and when combined with i-AWD (intelligent All-Wheel Drive) system, the V27 accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 5 seconds. Developed to meet dual five-star safety standards in China and Europe, the vehicle has been tested under diverse and complex conditions worldwide. All models come standard with seven airbags, and from body structure to active and passive safety features, the V27 provides reliable protection for every journey.
Since its debut at iCAUR Brand Night in Dubai last August, the V27 has quickly drawn global attention. It was later showcased at the iCAUR International User Summit, the Riyadh and Guangzhou Motor Shows. Market interest and anticipation have steadily grown. Users from multiple countries are looking forward to this new-energy classic. The first mass-produced V27 units have now rolled off the production line. Shipments to global markets will begin immediately, with its first launch in the Middle East covering six countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
