After years of preparation, the Grand Egyptian Museum will officially open on July 3, 2025. Located at the foot of the Pyramids of Giza, it is the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization. The museum’s impressive architecture, innovative exhibition concepts, and the first-ever complete display of the Tutankhamun treasures make it a must-see for travelers to Egypt.
Visitors can look forward to over 100,000 artifacts spanning Egypt’s history from the earliest periods to the Greco-Roman era. Archaeologists anticipate groundbreaking new insights into the lives and reigns of the pharaohs.
