At Saudi Travel Mart 2025 – Visit Qatar Unveils Line-up of Top Events for 2025

During its participation at the Saudi Travel Market 2025 (STM) as a Diamond sponsor, Visit Qatar, the main promotional arm of Qatar Tourism, has unveiled a line-up of world-class events set to take place in 2025. From world-class exhibitions to thrilling sports competitions and vibrant festivals, Qatar’s 2025 lineup will offer a wide array of experiences for Saudi and GCC travellers.

2025 will see the return of the highly anticipated Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) 2025, which is set to run from February 12 – 22.The culinary wonderlandwill offer food enthusiasts the opportunity to indulge in a variety of international cuisines, while enjoying celebrity chef appearances, and interactive gastronomic experiences. At the same time, the Web Summit Qatar 2025 makes a grand comeback from February 23 to 26, bringing together global entrepreneurs, investors, and tech pioneers for insightful discussions, networking, and innovation showcases.

During the holy month of Ramadan, visitors can immerse themselves in the spirit of the season with Ramadan markets, suhoors, and the Throwback Food Festival, offering a nostalgic culinary journey. Additionally, the country will host a vibrant series of celebrations for Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha, featuring spectacular fireworks and an array of family-friendly entertainment.

Meanwhile, the Luminous Festival in March will illuminate Qatar’s cultural landscape with its captivating fusion of light and art installations, transforming public spaces into mesmerising works of art.

Music fans will also have a lot to look forward to as Ed Sheeran’s Global +–=÷x Tour 2025 lands in Qatar in April at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall, delivering a night of electrifying performances and global hits. Adding to the excitement, Visit Qatar is set to welcome global music icon Michael Bublé for the first time in Qatar, as he takes the stage for two live performances on May 23 and 24 at Al Mayassa Theatre, Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). Additional concerts will be announced and held throughout the year, ensuring music enthusiasts have continuous entertainment.

As for the book readers, the Doha International Book Fair 2025 is returning from May 8 to 17 at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre (DECC). The 34th edition of this prestigious event will bring together literature enthusiasts, publishers, and authors, creating an inspiring platform for cultural exchange and intellectual dialogue.

Sports fans will have a lot in the pipeline as Qatar continues to establish itself as a global premier sporting hub, and 2025 will be no exception. Taking place from 17 – 22 February 2025, the ATP Open Qatar, will be a key stop on the global tennis circuit featuring top-ranked players competing for glorious title. From 21-22 February 2025, Motorsport enthusiasts will not want to miss the E1 Doha Grand Prix, the world’s first all-electric race boat series, bringing a new era of sustainable water sports to Qatar’s shores.

Additionally, football fans can anticipate exciting international and regional tournaments, reinforcing Qatar’s reputation as a leading destination for world-class sporting events. Amongst these events is the FIFA Arab Cup 2025, which will take place from 1 to 18 December, uniting football fans across the region to witness thrilling matches featuring top Arab national teams.

With a short flight from neighbouring countries, travellers can easily enjoy the best of Qatar’s tourism offerings, from luxurious resorts to a vibrant cultural and entertainment scene.

GCC travellers can also benefit from exclusive offers through the “Visit Qatar Pass”, available on the Visit Qatar mobile app. This pass provides discounts of 30 to 50 per cent across a range of categories, including food and drink, beauty and spa, health and fitness, leisure and entertainment, hotel stays, and retail services.
