Located in the heart of Tahlia Street in Jeddah, this marks the debut of the first branch of the legendary French café Laperouse outside Paris in Saudi Arabia. This move reaffirms confidence in the strength of the Saudi economy and the Saudi Vision 2030, which is steadily materializing on the ground.
Café Laperouse is steeped in history, embodying the elegant memories of Paris. The café holds a rich tapestry of memories involving literary, cultural, and theatrical luminaries such as Zola, Maupassant, Baudelaire, and Proust. Over the years, it has played host to visits from esteemed figures including the great French writer, Victor Hugo.
In light of this momentous occasion, Mr. Yasser Sharbatly, Deputy Chairman of Nahla Group and Head of the Hospitality and Hotel Sector, highlighted the significance of the food and beverage sector in the Kingdom’s economy.
