Winter finds: check out Dubai’s seasonal outdoor markets

Make the most of the winter season and check out Dubai’s packed calendar of activities and attractions, including seasonal outdoor markets where you can spend quality time with your family and friends.

The Ripe Market

One of the first craft markets to set up in Dubai, The Ripe Market is hosted in idyllic outdoor locations across the city during the cooler months. You’ll find it at Police Academy Park each weekend. Expect plenty of local vendors selling everything from fresh produce and organic treats to handmade gifts and jewellery, all set to a soundtrack of live music and family fun.

BAY by Social at Dubai Festival City

Family-friendly frolics are guaranteed at BAY by Social, set on the waterside at Dubai Festival City Mall. Feast on delicious dishes, sample flavourful brews at cosy coffee counters, win prizes from fairground games and top up on gifts from specialised vendors until April 2024. Looking to be wowed? Catch the free IMAGINE sound and light spectacular or enjoy the art installations, comedy shows and live music taking over the space.

Global Village

The region’s largest and first ever multicultural festival park, Global Village is offering an expanded array of attractions in its 28th edition that runs until 28 April 2024. With 27 pavilions, over 3,500 shopping outlets, and more than 250 dining options, this season provides an immersive journey through more than 90 cultures.

Al Seef District

Located along one of Dubai’s most storied locations, right beside Dubai Creek, Al Seef is the perfect place to unwind. The waterside destination reflects both the city’s futuristic style as well as its roots, with modern buildings on one end and heritage-inspired structures on the other. This district is home to restaurants, fashion boutiques and many more inspiring finds.

The Beach JBR

If you like strolling along the shore while you shop, The Beach JBR offers a plethora of stores, from Japanese lifestyle brand Muji, beauty haven Sephora and French fashion outlet Carmen. All through winter, the venue hosts a buzzing artisanal bazaar, with stalls selling food, accessories, and one-of-a-kind pieces. The Beach JBR is also home to an array of cafes and restaurants including Aprons and Hammers, Bombay Bungalow, La Mezcaleria, and more. Plus, get a chance to get a bird’s eyeview of Jumeirah Beach Residence and other amazing landmarks by booking a dining experience at Flying Cup.

This is also the perfect season to visit the outdoor attractions in the city including theme parks, waterparks, plus try different outdoor sports including hiking in Hatta, and more!
