Yanbu will be blooming again with its annual flower festival starting  February 15, featuring bird and butterfly gardens, a range of activities and an array of colorful floral landscapes crafted by young gardeners from Saudi Arabia. The show will be held at Celebration Park in Yanbu Industrial City, and will go on until March 9.

Engineer Hani Awaieda, Chairman of the Festival’s Executive Committees, remarked, “The festival comes at a crucial time, meeting the interests of Yanbu Industrial City’s vibrant community and contributing to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, centered around vibrant community diversity, creating unique opportunities for economic development, and fostering ambitious national identities.”

He added “The Yanbu Flower and Gardens Festival significantly contributes to economic diversification and enhances the quality of life for the region’s residents. It underscores the balance between industry and the environment, emphasizing sustainable development and supporting environmental and cultural initiatives.”

The festival has previously secured multiple entries in the Guinness World Records including for the world’s largest flower carpet. The program will feature stunning performances, and interactive entertainment stations, along with numerous other pavilions showcasing flower arrangements, gardening services, home garden planting and maintenance, bird and butterfly gardens, strawberry gardens, agricultural tools, nursery products, and companies specialized in related fields, alongside a recycling garden, an annual innovative idea aimed at promoting a culture of reuse and recycling.

The festival provides a space for local companies to showcase their products and services, aimed at boosting this sector of the region’s economy.

Over 2,000 people from the local community have been working as volunteers to set up and promote the show, having been trained in various aspects of event management.

The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu invites all visitors and enthusiasts to visit the festival’s website and explore the event details for an unforgettable experience at YanbuFlowerFestival.com.sa.
