Fall in Love with clean, safe and family-friendly Switzerland this summer.

With the plan to open the Swiss borders for vaccinated GCC guests as from June 28th we finally can plan our summer holiday. For the first trip after this difficult time, we need a clean & safe place for our families where we can discover uncrowded towns, feel the friendliness of the Swiss people and enjoy the magic of the Swiss nature. Furthermore, Switzerland might be tiny but it is one giant playground. Giant mountains, deep gorges. vivid green meadows, gushing waterfalls and thousands of lakes. Several exciting Families activities are awaiting young guests this summer: Chocolates experiences, rope parks, ziplining, open air museums, treasure hunts, kickbikes, marmots, tuktuks and tobogganning.

Zurich

Interlaken

Adventure Park Interlaken

Explore your limits in the Adventure Park Interlaken. The rope park consists nine courses with different levels of difficulty. While the adventurous dive into the treetops 20 meters above the ground, beginners and younger kids enjoy the ground-level course. Especially the butterfly path is fun for kids and beginners. Thrill for the whole family, surrounded by the nature and the mountains of the Bernese Oberland.

Flying Fox version, First Flieger and First Glider, at up to 80 km per hour, on the suspension bridge of the First Cliff Walk or on the agile Mountain Carts or Trottibike scooters with the wind in your hair. You simply cannot plan adventure. You find one. On First that is a certainty.

Ticino

Swissminiatur : A one-hour journey to visit the whole Switzerland! Seems impossible? Not in Swissminiatur, the park reproducing a miniature version of the Swiss Confederation. Swissminiatur is an open-air museum where you can admire the most important and iconic Swiss buildings and means of transportation. For example, a network of 3560 meters of miniature railway wends its way through the Park with 18 trains running on tracks, crossing bridges and stopping at stations, whilst boats ply the lakes, cable cars and funiculars climb and descend mountains and cars run along the motorways. Young and old alike are sure to have fun at Swissminiatur!

Zermatt

The Zermatt – Matterhorn family destination promises fun and adventure: we call it

Funventure®. In the Wolli adventure park at Sunnegga, little explorers play at and in Lake Leisee. Curious sleuths go on a treasure hunt or explore one of the numerous themed trails that have interesting stories to tell. Those who dare can pick a path on the via ferrata, test their skills in the rope park or race down to the valley on a Kickbike. Lake Geneva region

Cruises on Lake Geneva are offered by the Compagnie Générale de Navigation (CGN), with 8 splendid examples of “Belle Epoque” paddlewheel ships. Numerous thematic cruises depart from Lausanne, Montreux and Vevey. Particularly suggestive is the boat “La Suisse”, which makes daily cruises “In the heart of the heritage” and allows to appreciate the panoramic view of the famous Chillon Castle and the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, Unesco world heritage. On board, passengers can choose between the dishes offered in the “first class” lounge or the more affordable tastings in “second class”. From June 2021, Le Montreux will become a floating restaurant, thanks to the dishes prepared by the chefs of the Beau-Rivage Palace and served in the evenings during gourmet cruises : a journey that combines gastronomy and the magic of sunset. Le Montreux weighs anchor at the Lausanne-Ouchy landing stage, a few minutes walk from the Beau-Rivage Palace.

CransMontana

Kids’ activities presented by Bibi the marmot of Crans-Montana During the summer season, the gardens of Crans-Montana’s famous marmot mascot in Ycoor are a paradise for families. Geneva

In winter, skiing in the mountains can be combined with a visit to a chocolate factory riding an electric TUKTUK and discovering the LUX light festival. Graubünden

The biggest lake in western Europe offers unforgettable experiences such as boat trips along its beautiful shores or pedal boat renting combined with a picnic on the waters of the lake. »Ride the longest toboggan run in Switzerland and especially riding in the middle of the nature. Take the four-seater chairlift to the top and enjoy the crisp alpine air and magnificent views. After this much fun, relax at the lake Heidsee in Lenzerheide. A hub of all things aquatic, families flock here in the summer to rent boats and more. Or simply relax by the lake and enjoy the restaurant overlooking the clear water.
