HyperSpace launches its newest brand, House of Hype; unveiling a 60,000 sq ft park located in Riyadh Boulevard on 30th November 2023, this multi-brand entertainment attractions developer and operator is building on the most ambitious entertainment economy in the world, Saudi Arabia.
House of Hype is the world’s most innovative and engaging entertainment park. Alexander Heller, Co-Founder and CEO says “Our park is an exciting hybrid of content creation arena and state-of-the-art physical video game. It combines 46 creator experiences, 29 immersive attractions, and 32 gaming experiences into a brilliantly colourful and fun world where guests can create, play, and discover. Guest engagement is incentivised by digital collectibles, physical prizes, and an in-world currency, all running within a sophisticated virtual economy inspired by AAA video games.”
The park which will attract an estimated 1 million visitors a year, is a multi-zoned ticketed entertainment attraction that combines extravagantly built set pieces and immersive content experiences, with interactive design stations, body gaming, virtual production stages, immersive theatre and experiential retail all under one roof – embedded in a theme born out of gaming, fashion, web, music and social media creator cultures.
Additionally, House of Hype has an inhouse ‘soft currency’ called HyperCoin which is earned, found, spent and bought. The whole park is played with challenges, prizes, games and points for every experiential touchpoint. House of Hype is fully enhanced by the PARX Mobile App; which creates a digital game layer, asset collection, missions, marketplace, and AR experiences all empowered by AI behavioural analysis to generate responsive and rewarding experiences for every guest as they engage with the park.

Saudi Arabia did not have such entertainment attractions until 2017 and now the country is fast-becoming one of the world’s biggest gaming and entertainment destinations. Earlier this year thousands of people flocked to Riyadh from around the world as global elite esports champions and gamers faced-off in the city in July and August. It is the first new opening since the team confirmed $55 million of Series A financing last month in a round led by Galaxy Interactive, including participation from the Saudi Arabian entertainment initiative, Riyadh Season, SEGA Ventures, and Apis Venture Partners.
