This September, La Petite Maison Riyadh introduces Déjà Vu, the first-of-its-kind mocktail menu presented as a magazine that blends mixology with the timeless glamour of the French Riviera. After charming guests in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Déjà Vu now makes its way to Riyadh and Doha, inviting diners to sip their way through sun-soaked memories of the French Riviera. The Menu Experience
Think Brigitte Bardot in St. Tropez, Sunday crosswords by the sea, and long summer lunches that flow into golden hour. Déjà Vu captures this charm through ten original mocktails, each one paying tribute to a moment in time from the 50s to the 90s. With LPM’s signature mixology and a deep love for the South of France, the menu reimagines the Riviera’s golden age when cinema, music, and fashion shaped an era.
The menu reads like a magazine, inviting guests to turn pages filled with horoscopes, vintage illustrations, and playful stories that celebrate icons of art, film, and culture. Every drink becomes a page and every sip unfolds like a scene.
Each mocktail draws inspiration from cultural milestones that defined Côte d’Azur glamour, from the creation of the Hermes Birkin after Jane Birkin’s chance encounter with Jean-Louis Dumas on a plane, to Graham “Mr Monaco” Hill’s record five victories at the Monaco Grand Prix. Déjà Vu retells these stories in liquid form and celebrates the effortless style and sophistication that made the French Riviera an icon of timeless glamour.
Signature Mocktails
● Birkin – A radiant citrus-based mocktail with notes of Charentais melon and vermouth essence, garnished with a custom French silk scarf, a nod to the iconic handbag that changed fashion forever.
● Douliou Douliou – Inspired by the French film “Le Gendarme de Saint-Tropez,” this tropical blend of coconut and pineapple is served with a nostalgic touch: a mini Walkman playing the soundtrack from the golden days of cinema.
● La Plage – A refreshing and elegant alcohol-free creation with Tanqueray 0.0%, infused with the bright sweetness of mandarin and peach, and accompanied by the hand cream for a touch of indulgence.
